Meliá Kuala Lumpur

“September 20 through the 24th 2026: no bedbugs. Shower water pressure is strong. Water gets hot pretty quickly. Wi-Fi is OK but not really the strongest or the fastest. Location is very convenient being in front of an MRT station as well as as right in the heart of Bukit Bintang with so many shopping options and food options close by. Highly recommend for any first-time tourist to Kuala Lumpur.”

“19-23 Sep. First time here coming from transit from Dubai back to Singapore. Been to KL few times thou. Location of the hotel should be a good one since it’s not in the smack of Jalan Bukit Bintang along that iconic Pavillion Mall. Just across another Mall called Berjaya Time Square. Within minutes to Pavillion Mall and that stretch of roads. Upon arrival welcomed warmly by the door men and security. Very pleasant vibes once steeping out from our transportation. When to the counter to check in but a disappointed to find out that we were told that the King Bed that we booked few weeks early was not available and we have to check in into a twin bedded. You can imagine coming from a long flight from Central Europe, few hours in Dubai airport waiting for our connection flight to KL and arriving late in KL and was told that the type of room (King Bed) that we booked much earlier was not available! By any nature anyone could be pissed. Somehow managed to keep our cool as the FO staff somehow in a way handled us quite ok that I don’t have any further reasons to escalate my frustrations. Still pissed thou cos we can’t totally unpacked due to the room change that they need to do the next day. Must be a glitch from the Reservation Dept and overlook from the Front Office. Don’t ever take chances for guest arriving late to check in! Next morning check wt the front office staff and glad that the morning shift staff are aware of the room change. So that settled but still that does not justified for the incident. Breakfast spread was wonderful. Lots of choices when comes to their food items except the choices of juice available could be a bit more I think other than that everything was tremendously fine. The quality of food and again the friendliness and their attentiveness of the restaurant staff were great! Up to my expectations but there’s always space for improvement when comes to hospitalities. The breakfast room seems to have good lightings. The hostess at the entrance welcoming the guests too are friendly warm. So overall experience for first time was great except that king bed issue! Wouldn’t mind coming back and hope they don’t screw up again about the request of the bed type especially when reservations was made much earlier for them to accommodate to our request. I wouldn’t mind too recommending others to consider this hotel for your visits in KL.”

“I had a really lovely stay at Meliá Kuala Lumpur. The hotel has a great location, especially if you want to explore Kuala Lumpur and have easy access to different areas of the city. Everything felt convenient from the moment we arrived. The room was comfortable and well maintained, and I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The service was also very good — everyone we interacted with was friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was another highlight. There was a good variety of food, and everything we tried was enjoyable. I also appreciated how comfortable the breakfast area was, especially when traveling with my family. Overall, I genuinely had nothing to complain about during this stay. Everything from the room, location, cleanliness, breakfast, and service was a 10/10 for me. I would definitely come back to Meliá Kuala Lumpur on my next trip to KL.”
