HISTORY OF PUNTA CANA

The history of Punta Cana began in 1969 when the investors arrived at the zone and purchased a territory no larger than 19 square miles where there were only beaches and tumultuous vegetation.

With the participation of other capital investors and of the group Punta Cana S.A. development of small hotel infrastructures began in 1971.
