Currency
The official currency in Brazil is the Brazilian real. It is easy to exchange foreign currency in banks and exchange offices.
Language
The official language is Brazilian Portuguese, with a more open and nasal pronunciation than European Portuguese. There are also about 180 indigenous languages.

Internet access in Brazil is good in most regions, although generally of lower quality in rural areas.
